We have many unconscious stories we are telling ourselves and by which we live daily by. It’s these stories that really stop you living in alignment with your deepest desires. These subconscious stories create an experience that we don’t have time. I’m mean, where is the evidence in the natural world that there is not enough time for something to fulfil its purpose? Have you ever heard of a sunflower seed that didn’t get enough time to grow into a sunflower?
The kind of stories that I am talking about sound something like this:
They are all purely fictional stories, created and experienced in our internal world. This leads us to either repress, reject, control, manipulate situations in our external world to avoid doing the things we really want or need to do. Sadly, meaning many of us are living not congruently with our true self and instead develop coping strategies to give us the illusion that we are doing everything we can, only we don’t have enough time to that one thing!
To unravel ourselves from these fictional stories, starts with acknowledgment. Acknowledging that the reason our life is hard and the reason we are not developing our self in the direction we expect or at the rate we want. In the way we want or doing the things we want in the time we want them done, has nothing to do with that made up excuse we have been telling ourselves of “I have no time”.
It also has nothing to do with the lie that we have don’t have the right resources. We all are born with all the resources we need to enable growth, and we have 100 % access to them, all of the time. They are held within us such as awareness, clarity, willingness, availability. Growth happens when we begin to let go of our coping strategies and create space for it to come in, get through and get out, so you can express your true self!
This is the real problem behind lack of productivity, such as procrastination! All the strategies, rules, practice, policies will never be totally effective because all that is happening is we are building structures around or on a foundation that it not being true itself
Take a moment to look at and acknowledge that time is not your problem but that you are putting too much or too less time into doing way too many things that are not actually beneficial for you.
Maybe you waste so much time being busy because you don’t have the patience or are afraid to sit still long enough to really evaluate what really matters to you.
So, I challenge you to start being aware of your thoughts and asking yourself questions to get in and underneath the surface of what’s really going on.
Next time you say, I don’t have enough time, ask yourself:
This can lead to you needing to ask yourself some more deeper questions, such as:
Keeping asking these questions until you get clarity and really start to feel what your true calling is. But be sure of one thing though, your thoughts will bring you roadblocks, bring you the thought “how the hell am I going to make that possible, I don’t have the time!”
